Panasonic unveiled the model P905i mobile phone based on its LiMO platform during MWC 2008. The device features the company’s VIERA high-definition technology. Supporting the HSDPA network, GPS functionality and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, the P905i adopts a 5.1M camera and 3.2-inch color screen with 480×854 pixels.

Fujitsu to Demonstrate Mobile WiMAX SoC at Mobile World Congress

Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe plans to exhibit its WiMAX devices, demonstrating its WiMAX solutions and unveiling its Release 1.0 Wave 2-compliant baseband SoC at the 2008 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month. The Mobile World Congress is one of the biggest mobile technology exhibitions in the world attracting over 50,000 visitors during the four days.
Fujitsu is one of the founding and board members of the WiMAX Forum and will use the event to showcase its latest generation of WiMAX solutions in Silicon.
