Samsung Electronics launched its first HSUPA smart phone ‘SCH-M470’ in the Korea market.
Adopting a 2M camera, the SCH-M470 supports Web browsing, push email, Google search application, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.
HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access) is the enhanced version of WCDMA, offering higher data communication speeds for uplink.
Comparing with current WCDMA upload speed, the HSUPA demo is 5 times faster. For example, it takes 1 minute to upload 5 MP3 songs under HSUPA circumstances, while it took 5 minutes to upload the 5 MP3 songs under WCDMA.
Suggested price is between 600,000(KRW) and 700,000(KRW).
